Campbell's wisdom
Have spent the last few days resting, reading, writing and taking yoga classes. Have taken with old friends and teachers (Jenny B.), teachers who I have not yet studied with (Allison L.) and teachers from different styles (Paul C.). It's been so wonderful to be a student and to learn from everyone.
Just finished two of Joseph Campbell's book and am starting my third one.
Here is an inspirational quote for today and for the new year:
A bit of advice
given to a young Native American
at the time of his initiation:
"As you go the way of life
you will see a great chasm.
Jump.
It is not as wide as you think."
