I have been thinking about evolution lately. About how my body is the evolution of all my ancestors, all the people who came before me. Of how my yoga practice is the evolution of all the countless classes, workshops, trainings that I have taken. Of how my teaching continues to evolve. How Yoga itself is a conversation that has been happening for literally thousands of years and we too can, and are contributing to this dialogue.

Tomorrow I leave for Big Sur to continue evolving my meditation practice with Sally Kempton. But today I have a full day ahead. 

I make take a yoga class. 

I will teach for Black Dog's Teacher Training.

I will celebrate one of my best friend's birthday. 

And life itself will continue to evolve through me.
